Matthew Hunt Fishing Services takes bookings 7 days a week, every week of the year. Bookings for peak times are encouraged to be made early as trips fill up quickly. All bookings subject to availability and weather. Bookings can be made either via the phone 0409 008 441 or email matt@fishingservices.com.au
BAY CHARTERS: $110 per person (min.6 - max8)
SHARK TRIPS: $150 per hour (min. 5hrs)
OFFSHORE TRIPS: $150 per hour (min. 5hrs)
PRIVATE BOAT HIRE: $110 per hour (up to 6 people)
$150 per hour (8 persons)
We require a 30% deposit which is to be paid upon confirmation of all bookings.
In the event of a late booking, a credit card is required for security
All clients to fill in passenger manifest prior to safety briefing or departure.

FISHING LICENCES
All clients who fish aboard M.V Reggie must hold a current Victorian fishing licence. Licences can be purchased on board at an additional cost. Please inform the Skipper prior to departure if licences are required either via email or phone.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Having trouble finding that perfect gift? A gift voucher for a day’s fishing with Matt is a perfect idea. They are redeemable at any time and can be used for any of the charters that we have to offer. All you have to do is choose the voucher that best suits your needs, then give us a call and we’ll arrange the rest!
There are two different types of vouchers to choose from:
BAY VOUCHER for $110 - Valid for one person (Bay 6hrs)
OPEN WATER VOUCHER for $200 - Valid for one person (Offshore or coastal 8hrs)
If the recipient wishes to upgrade a bay voucher the extra 90 dollars is due before departure.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKINGS Once you have booked your trip and paid your deposit, we will contact you a week prior for a final confirmation. A 30% deposit must be paid upon initial confirmation and the final balance must be paid in full, 5 days prior to the charter’s departure.(Payment options available on the contact Matt page) Due to time restraints, the boat does not wait for late comers. We ask that all clients be ready at the delegated boat ramp 15 minutes prior to the vessel departing. A courtesy call is much appreciated if you are running late (Please provide mobile phone number that will be with you on the day of the charter). Both single bookings and small groups will be used to make up full charters. Each trip is made up of a minimum of 6 clients and Matthew Hunt Fishing Services has the right to reschedule any trip if numbers are low. All clients will be fully refunded if their trip is cancelled and can not be rescheduled. If the charter is cut short for any reason after departing, the cost will be reduced to an equivalent hourly rate so you only pay for time on the water (Only applicable to bad weather, medical emergency or vessel complications ) All charters to be paid in full BEFORE departure. Any necessary adjustments will be made on return to port.
CANCELLATIONS At least 48 hours notice must be given if a cancellation is made for single bookings or any deposits become forfeited. A group cancellation must be received with in 5 days of departure or any deposits become forfeited. A no show on the day of departure will result in a full forfeit of your fare paid. In the event of the Skipper cancelling a charter for any reason, all clients will be notified at the earliest possible time and the trip will be rescheduled for a later date. All trips are subject to weather conditions. The Skipper will give you a call the night before, only in the likelihood of a trip being cancelled. If at any time you are worried about the weather and have not heard from the Skipper, feel free to call Matt anytime on 0409 008 441.
EXCEPTIONS Quite often our skipper receives reports of fish biting well at a particular location a bit further a field than the bays or a productive night bite in Cario bay. When this occurs (most commonly in Sept, Oct, May, June and July) departure times and trip duration can vary to suit the targeted species.
PRIVACY STATEMENT Matthew Hunt Fishing Services keeps all client details received confidential and only uses these details for business purposes. In the event of a medical emergency or credit enquiries, client details will be passed on to any significant professional.
CHILDREN We do not allow children under the age of 12 on Bay charters and children under the age of 16 on Open Water charters as they are considered a high risk in the event of an emergency.
CUSTOMERS The Skipper has the right to terminate any charter if he feels client safety is in jeopardy. Abusive behaviour, intoxication, drug use, and any illegal activities of any sort will not be tolerated. Any serious incidents that occur will be reported to the police and strictly no refunds given if a trip is cancelled due to unruly behaviour. Clients are asked to inform Matthew Hunt Fishing Services of any pre-existing medical conditions suffered before departure. No responsibility will be taken for any incidents that arise due to undisclosed conditions. Matthew Hunt Fishing Services has the right to refuse any booking that is deemed to be of an additional high risk without prejudice.
FISHING LICENSES are required by Victorian Government Regulations for each individual fishing aboard The M.V REGGIE. These can be purchased from leading retail outlets, selected service stations, and online. They are available for 12 months, 1 month and 48 hours. FISHING LICENSES CAN BE PURCHASED ON BOARD
SAFETY Clients will be given a demonstration of all essential safety gear prior to departure. Any crew member has the right to ask all clients to adorn their life jackets at any time
GUARANTEE Matthew Hunt Fishing Services can not guarantee that every client will catch a fish as there are so many factors which we have no control over that determine catch rates. Matthew Hunt Fishing Services does guarantee that every option available to the Skipper will be exhausted to his limits and promises to ‘never give up’.
